Start the Halloween round
Use the Dandy's World portal in The Hollow hub. Inside the lobby, go to the Hollow section and join a match. The event uses the normal machine-and-elevator loop with pumpkins added to the floor.
You can play with the public queue. The quest counts pumpkins from any Halloween round; it does not require a private group.
How the 200-pumpkin count works
Pick up pumpkins scattered around the floor while you complete machines. The pumpkins you collect are kept even if the match ends badly. Finishing the match adds 50, so the fastest route is to survive and extract rather than farming one room and dying.
- A clean completion gives you the pumpkins collected plus 50.
- A failed match still keeps the pumpkins you picked up, but you lose the completion bonus.
- The counter is cumulative across matches.
- Three to four matches are usually enough if you pick up pumpkins consistently.
The match loop
Interact with the tube machines to fill them with ichor. Each interaction has a quick-time event; click in the white or gold section. A miss alerts the monsters and sends them toward you.
Complete the required number of machines, then follow the arrow to the elevator and leave before the timer expires. Monsters remove hearts on contact. Losing all hearts ends your run.
Claim the Reeling Petal Garland
After the counter reaches 200, return to The Hollow hub. Go to the Dandy's World portal and interact with its reward display. You receive the Reeling Petal Garland and the event badge.
The quest also pays 10 tickets. Confirm the badge popup before checking the pedestal if the tickets do not appear immediately.
If the counter does not update
- Finish the match or return to the lobby so the game can sync the pumpkin total.
- Check that you are in the Halloween round, not a standard round.
- Rejoin The Hollow and check the Dandy's World pedestal again.
- If the badge is missing, replay one short match and confirm the counter changes.
